New Year's Eve 2025

By Bixyl Shuftan

December 31 2025 was the last day of the year, New Year's Eve. And in various places, people celebrated the old year going out, and the new one going in.

At 2 PM, there was a formal party at the Chateau Trikassi Ballroom in Wooburn.

The men and women were dressed quite elegantly there.

At 4PM, Club Zero Gravity started it's New Year's Eve party.

DJ Rose played the tunes while wearing a very sparkly silver dress.

At 6PM. Club Cutlass would have it's party.

DJ Perri played the music for the crowd.

Hostess DeniseUnicorn Toonie had out a party balloon dropper. After a few seconds, they popped in showers of colorful sparks.

Later they were changed to be less flashy.

The contest prize money, ten thousand Linden dollars, was shared by five people that night: Gil Otared, Rififi, Cynthia Farshore, Fortunas Sands, and Kylee Gracemount.

At 8PM came the main event for both the Sunweaver and Caledonian communities: the New Years Eve bash at the Goblin Cave.

Cynthia Farshore, the owner of Caledon Downs and the Goblin Cave, DJed for the event.

When the clock got close to 9 SL time, a ball started lowering, and hit the bottom when the New Year chimed in for the East Coast.

And fireworks would go off outside.

It was quite a light show.

As the night went on, the party would ring in the New Year as more time zones hit Midnight.

Finally at Midnight SL time, Cynthia Farshore would end the party with playing Caledonia's anthem.

The Happy Vixen would hold an impromptu, unscheduled party for New Years.

DJ Charlee would spin the tunes as the club did it's part in ringing in the new year.

Last but not least, I would check out the Prim Drop Party at Bay City

Marianne McCann would play the music for the party.

I didn't arrive in time to see the Prim Drop itself, but there was the Conga Line, and plenty of fun chatter.

It was a fun close for New Year's Eve.

Happy 2026 everyone. Here's to a good year, in and out of Second Life.
