The setting is an amphitheater on Radio Spiral’s sim. People are enjoying the radio station’s “Bunny Hop” on Saturday, March 28.
A personal invite landed me in a top-row cushioned seat, watching Edison Rex play the piano in front of a cottage built by Trompe L’oeil.
The cottage added to the ambiance of the spring setting, where wildflowers were a warm blanket of color on the land.
After Edison’s performance, I asked him what selections he played as he relaxed.
He said, “I played a series of vignettes I’ve composed over the past 14 years, mostly about Springtime.”
Edison performs live on Radio Spiral’s sim for two hours every second Saturday.
Up next was Equinox Deschanel. He began with “Where I Was (Etheric Currents micro intro version)."
The Spring Bunny Hop schedule for the day included: Whispering Cosmos; Skr01nk; Edison Rex; Equinox Deschanel; Spiral Sands, and Gypsy Witch Sands. Cypress Rosewood was unable to perform, so Spiral covered his time slot.
Radio Spiral presented seven hours of relaxing music to help you ease out of the complexities of real life. Activities included a bunny hunt, a golden bunny hunt where you could win Dinkie rabbit avatar prizes, and a riverboat ride.
You’ve got to love the effort these artists put into their musical presentations. If you’re unable to make it in-world, listen to Radio Spiral 24/7/365: https://radiospiral.net/channel/radiospiral/

On a final note, Radio Spiral is celebrating its 10th year of playing electronica.
